Race 1 - MAIDEN PLATE - 1300 metres
On jumping away ELMEEBA jumped awkwardly and shifted in and bumped FLOPITIDOP.
The Clubs Veterinary Surgeon inspected NOTIPTHIS which performed below expectations and reported that the horse was suffering from heat stress and was having some respiratory difficulty.
Mr A Trengrove trainer of NOTIPTHIS advised the stewards that the gelding was going to be spelled.
1st FLOPITIDOP, 2nd STAR'S SON, 3rd MOSSGREEN
Race 2- 0-67 HCP - 1300 metres
HANNESBURG was slow to begin when the gates opened.
Near the 650 metres GOLD LOTTO shifted in quickly and bumped ROSE MARIE, that mare then became unbalanced for a short distance and lost ground.
Ms V Arnott rider of CONFOUNDED was reprimanded for using her whip on that gelding with an action that raised her arm above shoulder height. AR137A(4)(b).
Mr S Clarke trainer of CONFOUNDED was fined $100 for presenting that gelding late in the mounting yard.

Race 3 - SPECIAL CONDITIONS HCP - 1200 metres
CARAGA SUNSHINE was slow into stride when the gates opened.
Connections of second placed OUR LAST RESORT requested permission to view the official image of the finish prior to correct weight.
1st TESTAGOLD, 2nd OUR LAST RESORT, 3rd PARTY CRASHER
Race 4 - 0-58 HCP - 1100 metres
CHARLATAN PRINCE and TENNESSEE CAT were tightened for room between HALLI which shifted out and NIZAMI which shifted in. As a result TENNESSEE CAT was hampered and CHARLATAN PRINCE had to be checked.
Stewards questioned T Walsh rider of MELODY STREET regarding him racing wide throughout the race. T Walsh stated that the gelding had a tendency to over race up onto other runners and when he eased the gelding got its head up. He further stated that when he got behind his visibility was restricted and he raced wide due to this.
T Walsh was advised that the stewards were concerned at the unnecessary ground covered by MELODY STREET due to racing wide as in their opinion it offered the gelding little if any chance of finishing in the best possible position.
1st SUPREMATOR, 2nd BABY DEAN, 3rd JAFTICA
Race 5 - 0-73 HCP - 1000 metres
LITTLE RAPTOR threw its head up on jumping away and lost ground as a consequence.
Rounding the first turn LITTLE RAPTOR got its head up and raced ungenerously and went wide on the turn.
The Clubs Veterinary Surgeon inspected BARTER ME subsequent to the event and reported that the gelding was lame and has a laceration to its near hind leg.
Mr M Hickmott trainer of BLACKFORD was fined $50 for presenting that gelding late on course.
1st KOOLKANNA ROAD, 2nd SPEND THE MONEY, 3rd CARNEGGAN JESTER
Post race samples were taken from all winners.
Stewards today inquired into the following matters relating to AR 137A arising from the race meeting held at Fannie Bay on Friday 11th December.
Race 2 -
R Oakford rider of CASH ON ARRIVAL was reprimanded for his whip action on that gelding (AR137A4(b)). Stewards advised R Oakford that his whip action on this occasion clearly raised his arm above shoulder and that he must ensure he dose not use his whip in that manner in the future.
Race 3 -
D McIntosh rider of ninth placed ACTUATE was deemed to have used his whip unnecessarily over the concluding stages on that gelding which was clearly out of contention (AR 137A4(c)). Stewards ordered that D McIntosh forfeit his riding fee for ACTUATE.
Race 5 -
D McIntosh rider of GOLD LOTTO was reprimanded for using his whip in the forehand manner in excess of 5 occasions prior to the 100 metres. It was established that D McIntosh used his whip on 7 occasions prior to the 100 metres.
