Race 1 - CLASS 1 HCP - 1100 metres

When the gates opened SINGNEIL and MUST MAKE MAGIC were slow to begin. MUST MAKE MAGIC had a tendency to lay out in the early and middle stages of the race.

1st DALS ROAD, 2nd SIGNEIL, 3rd MISHYFIT

Race 2 - 0-58 HCP - 1100 metres

When the gates opened DORSETT jumped away awkwardly and lost some ground.

1st AKA JANE, 2nd CANT CATCH MOUSE, 3rd RISHIKESH

Race 3 - MAIDEN PLATE - 1200 metres

T Walsh the rider of STANDOVER LADY reported the mare pulled up lame. Prior to the mare racing again a satisfactory veterinary certificate must be produced.

CLIFFS was inspected by the Club Veterinary Surgeon subsequent to the event who stated the gelding appeared distressed.

B Davis rider of CLIFFS was found guilty of a charge under AR137(a) of careless riding.

The careless riding being that near the 1000 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not sufficiently clear of MR TROUBADOUR thereby taking that gelding in onto BEL DE FERRO. As a result MR TROUBADOUR was hampered and BEL DE FERRO had to be checked.

B Davis was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire at midnight on Friday the 3rd of April (2 meetings).

1st LEICA CON, 2nd CLIFFS, 3rd BEL DE FERRO

Race 4 - 0-70 HCP - 1200 metres

On jumping away SILVER PEGASUS was tightened for room between STANCE and WHAT AN ACT both of which shifted.

Also MIGHTY MOOLAH jumped away awkwardly and shifted out and bumped FRANCAGINO on the hind quarters.

1st FRANCAGINO, 2nd SILVER PEGASUS, 3rd STANCE

Post race samples were taken from all winners.
