Stewards today interviewed licensed trainer licensed trainer Mr J Manning regarding the findings of a stable inspection carried out at his stables on Friday 20th November 2009.
During the stable inspection Mr Manning produced a treatment book he keeps at the stables. Stewards during the course of the inspection identified a number of veterinary products which were not prescribed and labelled as required.
Stewards advised Mr Manning that although he was keeping treatment records they did not fully encompass the requirements under AR178F.
Mr Manning was fined $100 under AR80E with having veterinary products on his premises which were not labelled and or prescribed in accordance with the state and commonwealth legislation.

Stewards today interviewed Ms E Brown stable foreman for Mr S Brown regarding the findings of the stable inspections carried out at their stable on Tuesday 1st December.
Ms Brown provided a treatment record book which whilst not fully compliant with AR178F was only deficient in minor aspects.
During the inspection a number of preparations were noted that were not labelled and prescribed in accordance with AR80E.
Ms Brown explained that these products were kept on hand in case of emergency and for this reason were not labelled appropriately.
Stewards advised Ms Brown that in future she must ensure that all substances and preparations are prescribed and labelled in accordance with the relevant State and Commonwealth Legislation (AR80E)
