Race 1 Cummins x15 Handicap 1200 metres

GRANDE CASTAGNO (J Gibbons) – Restricted for room along the rails from the 250m before rider having to take hold and check his mount clipping heels and dipping.

SHINING MANE (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Shifted inwards slightly at the 1100m. Commenced to shift ground inwards from the 250m bumping with another runner on several occasions.

JONNY AKHATON (B Huppatz) – Steadied off heels at the 1100m and whilst shifting outwards clipped heels and dipped slightly.

BIANCONI’S SON (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

General; On inquiry, R Vigar was found guilty of a charge of careless riding under AR137(a) with the specifics being that he permitted his mount to shift ground inwards from the 250m when insufficiently clear resulting in GRANDE CASTAGNO (J Gibbons) being crowded for room for some distance along the rails and having to be checked before clipping heels. Jockey R Vigar had his license to ride in races suspended for 1 NT meeting to expire after 2 September, 2017

Race 2: ADEPT Technology Handicap 1200 metres

NORDIC ECLIPSE (J Gibbons) – Commenced awkwardly.

ENGINE FIFTY FIVE (B Huppatz) – Commenced awkwardly and raced wide throughout.

DANCING POETESS (F Bergstrand) – Commenced awkwardly.

HOT DEMAND (R Vigar) – Inclined to lay outwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

URBAN BOURBON (J Maund) – Slow into stride.

Race 3: Cummins X12 Maiden Plate 1000 metres

Prior to this race, Stewards interviewed trainer L Gillett in regards to her riding instructions she intended to give each rider bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.

CONTACT FRONT (L Crow) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Disappointed for clear running from the 300m to the 200m. Had to steady off heels at the 100m whilst trying to secure clear running.

QUE PASA (B Davis) – Raced wide throughout.

TATICAL LASS (R Vigar) – Rolled in momentarily nearing the 200m.

SORRY I AM RAZOR (B Huppatz) – Inclined to race a little erratic in the early stages of the event. Steadied off heels about the 300m. Raced wide throughout.

RAZOR SKIRT (J Gibbons) – Bounded on jumping bumping with another runner.

Race 4: 1300 Cummins Handicap 1600 metres

GIRL HAPPY (F Bergstrand) – Commenced awkwardly.

CASINO EXIT (R Vigar) – Raced keenly in the early stages. Bumped with another runner at the 1200m.

NAMING RIGHTS (W Kerford) – Slow into stride on jumping.

CATCHTHERAINBOW (J Maund) – Bumped with another runner at the 1200m.

Race 5: Cummins Cup 1400 metres

LE COMMANDANT (J Gibbons) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Shifted outwards under pressure from the about the 150m.

POT BLACK (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

SNOWTROOPER (R Vigar) – Steadied off heels about the 150m.

DOON BUGGY (J Maund) – Fractious in the barriers and commenced awkwardly losing some ground. Raced wide throughout.
