Race 1 - TROBIS 2YO - 1000 metres:
As P Shiers was to be overweight stewards permitted N Stanley to replace him as the rider of SEVEN BRIDGES.
SEVEN BRIDGES dwelt when the gates opened and conceded some ground and BENAVARRO was slow into stride.
DISC JOCKEY attempted to buck shortly after the start.

Race 2 – 0 - 58 HCP - 1600 metres:
PAPANDREOU was slow into stride when the gates opened.
In the early stages of the race SLICK SPIRIT over raced and had to be eased to avoid running up heels. N Stanley then elected to shift out and raced wide rounding the first turn.
On several occasions rounding the turn CASH ON ARRIVAL rolled in and tightened VIGGO.

Race 3 – CLASS B HCP - 1300 metres:
When the gates opened PADUWI shifted out onto ROYAL STEAL.
SORRISO jumped awkwardly and became unbalanced.
1st DAISY GRACE 2nd MOSSGREEN 3rd LE PARADIS
Race 4 – 0 - 67 HCP - 1300 metres:
Stewards questioned C Haddon rider of LAST FRONTIER regarding the geldings improved performance today. C Haddon stated that he believed that today LAST FRONTIER had everything his own way including an inside barrier and then being able to dictate terms and in his opinion that was the reason for the geldings improved performance.
On jumping away INVISIBLE CITY shifted out abruptly and tightened BUMBOULINA out onto GOLD LOTTO. As a result BUMBOULINA was badly hampered and GOLD LOTTO became unbalanced.
1st LAST FRONTIER 2nd IRISH RHAPSODY 3rd JORSTON
Race 5 – 0 - 62 HCP - 1100 metres:
C Dean rider of STIRRUP CUP advised the stewards that he believed his mount got its tongue over the bit during the race.
Near the 700 metres BABY DEAN which was shifting in clipped the heels of BESOFABULEUX.
The Club's Veterinary surgeon inspected INTOXICATING RING subsequent to the event and reported that the gelding had blood in its off side nostril.
P Shiers rider of ETHBAAL was found guilty of a charge of careless riding (AR 137(a)). The careless riding being that near the 650 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not sufficiently clear of INTOXICATING RING resulting in INTOXICATING RING clipping its heels.
P Shiers was suspended from riding in races for a period to expire at midnight on Saturday 26th June (2 meetings) and fined the sum of $250
1st ETHBAAL 2nd GREEN MANGO 3rd TRES CHERE
Race 6 – QBE CUP - 1200 metres:
Prior to correct weight being declared J Cameron rider of WYREEMA requested to view the photo finish image, and C Spry rider of SPAKATAK requested permission to view the stewards patrol films from the home turn.
When the gates opened PARTY CRASHER bounded and got its head up and lost considerable ground. On jumping away MARCO LARGO shifted out and hampered EXALATION.
Shortly after the start TESTAGOLD was tightened for room and had to be eased by GALLIUM which shifted out.
Rounding the turn near the 600 metres MARCO LARGO which was racing tight between FLY HALF and GALLIUM had to be eased when tightened for room. When eased MARCO LARGO layed across the heels of GALLIUM and lost ground.
1st HARGITAY 2nd WYREEMA 3rd SPAKATAK
Race 7 – 0 - 73 HCP - 1100 metres:
When the gates opened ROCKY BAY bounded and lost ground.
On jumping away PICK OF THE LOT shifted in taking ONLY FEATHERS in onto JUNGLE TESSLA and it in turn onto LITTLE RAPTOR.
As a result JUNGLE TESSLA was hampered and lost ground and ONLY FEATHERS and LITTLE RAPTOR were inconvenienced.

Stewards adjourned an inquiry into C Dean's use of the whip on TESTAGOLD in race 6 Saturday 12th June.
Post race swab samples were taken all winners.
Pre race samples were taken from Panis Angelicus, Monto Rocket, Slick Spirit.
