Race 1 – MAIDEN PLATE - 1300 metres:
TIGERLANI lost a hind plate in the mounting yard prior to the race and lost the other hind plate during the event.
Subsequent to the event the Club's Veterinary Surgeon inspected ATOMIC TIGER and reported she could find no apparent abnormalities.

Race 2 – 3YO CLASS 4 HCP - 1200 metres:
After being placed in the barriers ICED MAGIC reared in the gates and turned around. Following the Vet's advice that the filly was fit to race Stewards allowed ICED MAGIC to be reloaded. ICED MAGIC continued to rear and was unable to be placed in the barriers. As a result Steward's ordered the withdrawal of ICED MAGIC at 3.56 pm.
Stewards ordered all monies wagered on ICED MAGICto be refunded and all monies wagered on the event prior to the withdrawal of ICED MAGIC to be paid as follows:-

Steward's advised J Manning trainer of ICED MAGIC that a warning would be issued against that filly and it must trial to the satisfaction of the Steward's prior to racing again. J Manning advised the Steward's that he thought ICED MAGIC was at the end of it's preparation and he intended to spell that filly.
When the gates opened THE TINKER jumped awkwardly and moved to the fence.
Approaching the 650 metres B Huppatz rider of ANOTHER SHOUT eased off the heels of ALMADINE which was leading.
ANOTHER SHOUT hung rounding the turn.
Subsequent to the event C Spry rider of THE TINKER advised Steward's that his mount raced greenly throughout the race.

Race 3 – 0-58 Hcp - 1300 metres:
I'M GOOD FOR IT reared at the start and lost considerable ground.

Race 4 – 0 – 64 HCP - 1000 metres:
When the gates opened CRACKALACKIN jumped awkwardly and was slow away.
On jumping away RED PANTHER was slow into stride.

At the start YOBURG jumped awkwardly and struck the side of the barrier which caused it to lose some ground.
