Race 1 - MAIDEN PLATE - 1000 metres:
The start of the race was delayed due to the ambulance arriving late on course.
When the gates opened FASLEON bounded and lost some ground as a consequence.
Shortly after the start PIGGOTT attempted to buck.
Stewards advised Mr M Rattley trainer of PIGGOTT that a warning would be issued against the gelding and if it was to perform in a similar manner in future some action may be taken.

Race 2 – 0 - 69 HCP - 1000 metres:
Near the 50 metres KIWI JIM and STATURE came together.
KOOLKANNA ROAD had a tendency to lay out rounding the turn.

Race 3 – BENCHMARK 70 HCP - 1200 metres:
LEICA CON was slow into stride when the gates opened.
1st BARSTOOL 2nd LITTLE RAPTOR 3rd EXALATION
Race 4 – 0 - 63 HCP - 1200 metres:
Shortly after the 800 metres ROYAL STEAL shifted in to the inside of the heels of GREEN MANGO when improving.
Rounding the first turn GREEN MANGO rolled slightly and had to be eased off the heels of COSMIC VISION.
Subsequent to the event the Club's Veterinary surgeon inspected CHARGE UP which performed poorly and reported no apparent abnormalities.
Stewards opened an inquiry into the disappointing performance of CHARGE UP. Evidence was taken from Mr D Jupp trainer of CHARGE UP and B Davis rider of CHARGE UP. The inquiry was adjourned until 1pm Monday 23rd August.
1st COSMIC VISION 2nd BLACKFORD 3rd BELLBOOKANDCANDLE
Race 5 – 0 - 58 HCP - 1600 metres:
On jumping away DAISY GRACE shifted out taking PAPANDREOU out onto SMOKIN' DUST which was taken across the heels of THE BUSINESS.
Near the 400 metres PAPANDREOU had a tendency to lay in and bumped THE BUSINESS.
