Race 1 Landmark Handicap 1400 metres

FRENCH TUSSON (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.

HUSSAVI (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide rounding home turn and into the straight.

BLACK BURBERRY (S Ridler) – Slow into stride.

FASTER STRONGER (C Haddon) – Tightened between runners on jumping.

LIVE IN SANE (R Prest) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.


Race 2: Darwin Horse Floats Handicap 1400 metres

FINKE (N Rose) – Ridden hard into the first turn and then had to steady when racing keenly.

PRANFARE (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

LADY FLEETFOOT (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly. After a poor performance a veterinary examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.

THE WILD SIDE (J Todd) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

BARKLEY (B Huppatz) – Knuckled on jumping losing some ground and commenced to race ungenerously in the early stages of the event.

CAPITOLINE (D Pisani) – Mistrode about the 1200m becoming momentarily unbalanced.

Race 3: Sun FM Handicap 1200 metres

AQABA (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped with another runner.

PAZZIMY (J Cameron) – On arriving at the barriers, a veterinary examination was ordered after the gelding hit the running rail when entering onto the track and was subsequently passed fit to start. Bumped with another runner on jumping.

REMEMBER RAZOR (R Prest) – Slow into stride and raced ungenerously in the early stages of the event.

BRIDGEY FLYER (S Ridler) – Bumped with another runner on jumping becoming momentarily unbalanced and raced wide throughout with no cover.

BLUE SHORE (K Connor) – Shortly after jumping was tightened between runners and dipped.

Race 4: Arthur J Gallagher Handicap 1100 metres

Prior to this race Stewards interviewed trainer Mrs L Gillett in regards to the riding instructions she intended to give each jockey bearing in mind she had 3 runners engaged in this event.

RIBERA DEL DUERO (R Vigar) – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

ROYAL CHOICE (N Rose) – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

FULL MARKS (C Haddon) – Raced ungenerously in the early stages of the event.

ANOTHER MAN’S GAIN (G Watson) – Raced wide throughout.

BLAME IT ON RIO (R Prest) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

HARADIS EAGLE (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

APPLE CIDER ALLEY (B Huppatz) – Failed to muster early speed and yielded ground.

General: Correct weight for this event was delayed after a malfunction with the Lynx photo finish system.

Race 5: XXXX Gold Easter Handicap 1100 metres

Prior to this race Stewards interviewed trainer Mrs L Gillett in regards to the riding instructions she intended to give each jockey bearing in mind she had 3 runners engaged in this event.

HAND IN GLOVE (S Westover) – Slow into stride.

ZOCALOS (G Watson) – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start and raced wide from the 700m.

SHOOT N SCOOT (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner shortly after the start.

YOUKNOWTHEDRILL (S Ridler) – Bumped with runner at the 700m.

AUSBRED ROYAL (W Kerford) – Shifted out at the 700m and bumped with another runner.

Race 6: First National Framptons Handicap 1000 metres

PURPLE PASSAGE (R Prest) – Commenced awkwardly. Steadied off heels at the 680m.

OVERRIDE (J Cameron) – Shifted out around heels at the 680m and was momentarily steadied.

YOUR EXCELLENCY (S Ridler) – Shifted in approaching the 680m.

General: Stewards inquired into an incident at the 680m whereby apprentice R Prest and jockey J Cameron had to steady their mounts. It was established that S Ridler (YOUR EXCELLENCY) had permitted his mount to shift in at the 680m when not fully clear causing this interference. Stewards considered the incident to be on the low end of the scale and therefore reprimanded S Ridler for careless riding AR137(a).

All riders were breath tested for alcohol.

Race 4: Jockey S Westover (MITIGATE) fined $200 for using his whip on 2 extra occasions than permitted prior to the 100m (won the race) - AR1375A(a)(ii).

Race 5: Jockey S Ridler (YOUR EXCELLENCY) reprimanded for careless riding - AR137(a).
