VILLE DE BERNE (K Brooks) – Race in restricted room rounding home turn.
Race 2 – Trobis Class 2 Handicap 1300m
The start of this race was delayed due to the bridle being refitted to MARY ZARIZ.
POET'S CHOICE (F Bergstrand) - Raced wide throughout.
FARAJA (C Spry) – Slow into stride.
CHICA CALIENTE (S Altieri) - Commenced awkwardly and bumped at the start.
MARY ZARIZ (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.
SECOND BASE (K Brooks) - Raced wide throughout.
THE SOOTHSAYER (M Tyndall) - Bumped at the start.
Race 3 – Benchmark 76 Handicap 1200m
BEST CASE(NZ) (C Spry) – Slow to muster early speed. Raced wide from the 650m.
STAY TIL DAWN (S Altieri) – Eased when racing keenly near the 650m.
Race 4 – 0-58 Handicap 1200m
MANHATTAN PRINCE (K Brooks) – Lay inwards under pressure in the straight.
JOLLY BOY (M Tyndall) - Bumped at the start.
MAKOWSKY(NZ) (R Oakford) – Bounded and bumped at the start.
INTERWOVEN (C Spry) - Raced wide throughout.
Race 5 – 0-70 Handicap 1600m
Stewards interviewed trainer C Pollard in regards to the riding instructions he intended to give each jockey as his stable had three runners in the event.
DANCING BOY (K Brooks) – Inspected by the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon on arrival at the barriers and was reported to be lame in the near fore and was subsequently withdrawn by order of the Stewards at 5.03pm. All wagers placed on the gelding were ordered to be refunded and the following deductions were applicable to winning bets placed prior to 5.03pm.

DASH ABOUT (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.
TYPHOON TREV (K Cross) – Inspected by the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon prior to the event as the gelding had blood in its month and was cleared to race.
Post race samples were taken from all winners and RIBERA DEL DUERO, STAY TIL DAWN. Pre race samples were taken from RONN’S MOSS and DANCING BOY. A number of riders were randomly select to provide urine samples for the purpose of drug and alcohol testing.
Race 3 – Trainer T Halter fined $50 for presenting HUSSARS without a tongue tie – AR140
Race 3 – Jockey R Vigar fined $100 for celebratory gesture prior to passing the winning post – AR 137(c)
