General:Stewards questioned rider S Westover and Mrs L Gillett trainer of HAND IN GLOVE in relation to the riding instructions for that gelding, as Mrs Gillett had advised stewards prior to the race that she wished for the gelding to be ridden in a forward manner. Jockey S Westover advised that the gelding had missed the start and due to the large weight he elected to give the gelding time to find its feet. Mrs Gillett advised she was satisfied with HAND IN GLOVES performance following the less than ideal start. Stewards were satisfied with both explanations.
