Race 2: Yeperenye Shopping Centre Handicap 1200 metres

DANGER MOUSE (K Gladwin) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that after beginning well he was reluctant to ride vigorously for a forward position from his wide barrier as runners drawn to his inside showed more pace in the early stages. Stewards were satisfied that HEART OF RED was clear when shifting ground and further that jockeys B Davis and C Spry had attempted to straighten their respective mounts and therefore no further action was taken in regards to this interference.
