General: Stewards questioned trainer L Whittle in regards to the riding instructions she gave her riders R Vigar PERFECT PAUSE and P Denton MOSS ‘N’ TIME after Stewards expressed concern when both runners set a fast pace out in front breaking away from the field with both runners compounding in the straight. Ms Whittle advised that she did not give instructions but explained that MOSS ‘N’ TIME had not raced for 8 months and was likely to be racing keen first up whilst she would have preferred to see PERFECT PAUSE take a sit behind that runner. Ms Whittle expressed disappointment with their rides. Stewards took no further action other than advising Ms Whittle to be more specific when giving instructions to her riders.
