General: Stewards inquired into the reason for CHIMA (L Crow) losing ground near the 300m. Stewards interviewed F Bergstrand (SHOOT N SCOOT), B Davis (RIBERA DEL DUERO), W Kerford (ROYCEY) and apprentice L Crow in the presence of her master Mr W Savage. It was established that SHOOT N SCOOT shifted out around CHIMA about the 400m to obtain a clear run as RIBERA DEL DUERO and ROYCEY on her outside were beginning to roll in which caused SHOOT N SCOOT to be tightened onto CHIMA . It was also established that L Crow continued to ride forward whilst getting tight for room. Stewards were satisfied on the evidence that no one rider had ridden in a careless manner to cause this interference and therefore no further action was taken.

All riders breath tested for alcohol.

Post-race samples were taken from all winners.
