FLIGHT OF TERROR (W Davis) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner.
Race 2: Centralian Advocate Handicap 1200 metres
BEL VUITTON (S Westover) – Knuckled slightly on jumping.
THE HUMMEL (B Huppatz) – Inclined to shift out under pressure down the length of the straight.
SHORT SHIFT (T Gillett) – Raced a little ungenerously in the early stages of the event.
LADY PHROMILY (R Vigar) – Slow into stride.
Race 3: Arthur J Gallagher Handicap 1100 metres
BEST A MAN CAN GET (S Westover) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and was taken out wide by another runner rounding the home turn.
REMBRANT (K Gladwin) – Bumped with another runner on jumping
FRANKENFURTER (W Davis) – Slow into stride and inclined to lay out from the 500 causing its rider some difficulties. Trainer was advised that Stewards would monitor its next start and a similar occurrence may result in some action being taken. A subsequent veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
Race 4: DoubleTree by Hilton Handicap 1000 metres
RED CENTRE GLORY (B Huppatz) – After becoming unruly in the mounting yard, a veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Began awkwardly.
