QUIET REFLECTION ($6) - was declared a late withdrawal at 5.03pm by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice when the gelding was found to be mildly lame in the near fore. EXERT  13c win  19c place

MELANION  17c place

BENGALI  28c place

KING KAZOU (B Davis) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that despite being ridden vigorously from the barriers, the gelding failed to display its customary early speed and whilst obliged to race 3 wide without cover, his mount was under pressure on straightening and failed to finish the race off as anticipated. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities and a swab sample was taken.

JOLLY BOY (M Tyndall) – Bounded at the start and lost ground. In this incident the gelding struck its off shoulder on the barrier gate. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.

BENGALI (S Altieri) – Bumped at the start.
