Stewards today interviewed Licensed trainer Ms T Halter regarding the findings of a stable inspection carried out at her stables on Tuesday 24th November.

Ms Halter provided a treatment book which whilst not fully compliant with AR 178F was only deficient in minor aspects.

During the stable inspection a number of prescriptions were noted that were not labelled in accordance with AR 80E.

Ms Halter explained that these products were old and had been recommended for a horse she previously trained.

Stewards advised Ms Halter that in future she must ensure all substances and preparations are prescribed and labelled in accordance with the relevant state and commonwealth legislation. (AR 80E)

Stewards today interviewed Licensed trainer Mr C Pollard regarding the findings of a stable inspection carried out as his stables on Friday 20th November.

Mr C Pollard produced a treatment book on that day however he had failed to record any of the information as required by AR 178F. Mr Pollard did produce a treatment book today which had been kept up to date since the 20th November.

During the stable inspection a number of preparations were found which were not properly dispensed or labelled as per AR 80E.

Mr Pollard was advised that he would be expected to keep a treatment book which must contain all information as requested by AR 178F.

Mr Pollard was fined $100 under AR 80E with having veterinary products on his premises which were not labelled and or prescribed in accordance with the relevant state and commonwealth legislation.
