WISEN UP (P Shiers) – Bumped heavily and was unbalanced passing the 350m.

MERVEILLE (Richie Oakford) – Lay inwards rounding the home turn and consequently bumped with another runner near the 350m.  Continued to lay inwards in the straight with its rider having difficulty fully testing his mount in the run to the finish.  As the gelding has now raced in this manner at consecutive starts, trainer L Walling-Denton was advised the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.

ON YOUR WAY (V Arnott) - Commenced awkwardly.

VIOTTI (R Oakford) - Commenced awkwardly getting its head in the air and as a result lost ground.

CULLINAN (P Roff) - After being kicked by another runner behind the barriers the horse underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to compete.  Raced wide throughout.

MIGHTY TAX (F Bergstrand) - Required its bridle to be refitted behind the barriers which delayed the start.

BE COOL YOLANDER (M Tyndall) – Shifted inwards abruptly under pressure near the 250m.

AFRICAN PULSE (P Shiers) – Carried inwards at the start.

FAMOUS FINNISH (V Arnott) - Raced wide for majority of the event.
