POET'S CHOICE (W Davis) – Shifted outwards and bumped near the 1100m.
PYXIS (J Todd) – Bumped at the start. Carried outwards and steadied near the 1100m.
QUANTUM DOT (Z Gibbs) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped at the start. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
RACE 3 - TROBIS MAIDEN PLTE 1200M
Stewards considered an objection lodged by jockey J Todd, rider of the second placed CRESTA CHROME against the winner BE COOL YOLANDER (R Vigar) alleging interference over the concluding stages. Whist Stewards were of the opinion that BE COOL YOLANDER did shift inwards in the run to the finish resulting in contact between both runners, they were not satisfied that the interference had a material effect on the finish and the protest was therefore dismissed.
