Race 1 Wild Flower Blooms Handicap 1100 metres

Stewards interviewed trainer L Whittle in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.

ICEFLOW (D Morgan) – Commenced to shift outwards from the 900m bumping with another runner on several occasions.

WAYANKA (L Crow) – Bumped on jumping. Inclined to shift outwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

LIVE FAST (J Todd) – Slow into stride.

SHINING MANE (W Kerford) – Bumped on jumping and again at the 900m and 600m.

Race 2: Ladbrokes Handicap 1100 metres

LOVE CLUB (R Vigar) – Ridden hard early to establish the lead. Commenced to shift outwards under pressure from the 100m.

MAUDY (J Todd) – Commenced a little awkwardly. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 150m.

REDWOOD GARDENS (L Crow) – Commenced a little awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.

Race 3: Territory Pest Control Handicap 1200 metres

NIC NAC (D Morgan) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with runner and momentarily unbalancing its rider. Raced wide throughout.

BRAZILLIANT (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly.

BABE IN BOOTS (W Kerford) – Bumped on jumping.

URBAN BOURBON (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.

FIRE ‘N’ VICE (J Todd) – Knuckled on jumping.

Race 4: Home Timber & Hardware Handicap 1200 metres

JONNY AKHATON (B Huppatz) – Steadied at the 950m when momentarily tightened for room.

BLAZING BULLET J Todd) – Stood flat footed when the gates opened and lost some ground.

OUR TICKETS (L Crow) – Slow into stride.

HEART OF EDEN (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly.

WOOGIE (D Morgan) – Rolled inwards at the 950m.

OUR WITNESS (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly losing some ground. Taken inwards by another runner at the 950m. Trainer advised that prior to again racing, the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards by loading in a timely manner.

Race 5: Centralian Advocate Handicap 1400 metres

MODERNA’S ARROW (D Morgan) – Underwent a veterinary examination at the barriers at the request of its rider and was subsequently passed fit to start. Commenced awkwardly.

SHOAL RIVER (L Crow) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.
