Stewards interviewed trainer L Whittle in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue her riders bearing in mind she had multiple runners in this event.
ICEFLOW (D Morgan) – Commenced to shift outwards from the 900m bumping with another runner on several occasions.
WAYANKA (L Crow) – Bumped on jumping. Inclined to shift outwards under pressure down the length of the straight.
LIVE FAST (J Todd) – Slow into stride.
SHINING MANE (W Kerford) – Bumped on jumping and again at the 900m and 600m.

LOVE CLUB (R Vigar) – Ridden hard early to establish the lead. Commenced to shift outwards under pressure from the 100m.

OUR WITNESS (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly losing some ground. Taken inwards by another runner at the 950m. Trainer advised that prior to again racing, the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards by loading in a timely manner.
