Race 1 The Rock Bar Handicap 1200 metres
AMERICAN STAR (R Vigar) – Ridden vigorously early to obtain the lead.
CYCLONITE P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
LORD SMEDLEY (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
MAUDY (J Todd) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
RAWTEKK (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 2: Territory Pest Control Handicap 1200 metres
PREEMTIVE (D Morgan) – Raced wide throughout.
MILITARY FORCES (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly losing some ground and raced wide thereafter.
CLAIRVUE DIAMOND (B Huppatz) – Cast both front shoes in running. A post-race veterinary examination found the gelding to be lame in the near fore fetlock. Trainer T Huish advised that prior to that gelding again starting in a race, he must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards. Trainer subsequently advised that the gelding will now be sent for a spell.
AGGRESSION (W Kerford) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 3: Tab Handicap 1100 metres
BLAZING BULLET (J Todd) – Slow into stride. Held up for clear running between the 400m and 300m.
DELIGHTFUL SPIRIT (D Morgan) – Knuckled on jumping.
KING CRAB (C Hunter) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner.
SORRY I AM RAZOR (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
1ST DONE RIGHT 2ND MODERNA’S ARROW 3RD BLAZING BULLET
Race 4: Coles Red Kite Handicap 1000 metres
The start of this race was delayed several minutes due to ARROGANT MISS being reluctant to proceed to the barriers.
ARROGANT MISS (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Trainer R Bell was advised that a warning had been placed on the filly for its reluctance to go to the barriers in a timely manner and a repeat occurrence may result in the Stewards taking some action.
FINAL CHANCE (L Crow) – Raced wide throughout.
LIT (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
STILL JUSTIFIED (R Vigar) – Ridden aggressively to obtain a forward position. Hung out from the 500m with the rider having some difficulty negotiating the home turn. Trainer L Gillett was advised that a warning would be placed on the gelding racing manner and a repeat may result in further action being taken by the Stewards.
1ST ARROGANT MISS 2ND STILL JUSTIFIED 3RD FINAL CHANCE
Race 5: Ladbrokes Cash Out Early Handicap 1400 metres
GRAB FOR POWER (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping.
ESCALATOR (C Hunter) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.
SAFETY DANCE (T Treichel) – Fractious in the barriers. Bumped with another runner shortly after jumping. Steadied off heels into the first turn.
LITTLE HEATH (J Todd) – Slow into stride and inconvenienced between runners shortly after.
WHITWORTH (P Denton) – Shifted inwards and bumped with another runner shortly after jumping. Steadied off heels at the 900m when racing forward.
