REAL REASON (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start.

ZIP LANE (J Hampson) – Slow into stride.

DREAM WEAVER (J Todd) – After yielding ground from the 600m a post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

GHETTO (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Raced keenly through the middle stages.

1ST NORTHERN FACTOR 2ND BLUE JEAN BABY 3RD ZIP LANE

 

Race 2: BM54 1200m

MAXAWAY (W Davis) – Held up rounding the home turn.

REDWINELOVER (S Wiseman) – The veterinarian advised the filly was found to be lame in the near fore leg after winning the event. Trainer N Irwin was advised that she must present a veterinary clearance for the filly prior to racing again.

1ST REDWINELOVER 2ND MAXAWAY 3RD NOBLE WAR

Race 3: 0-64 1200m

DEFENCE ATTORNEY (J Hampson) – Commenced awkwardly and then bumped and unbalanced. Rider reported that her mount resented the kickback in the early stages and she elected to shift outwards and raced wide from the 700m. The gelding returned with an ulcerated right eye.

BLUEANT (S Wiseman) – Bumped another runner at the start.

RAAZOU (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and veered inwards at the start.

Race 4: BMNT 1100m

The start of this race was rescheduled to 4.48pm due to the Paramedics attending to an on course patron.

PAPALET – Stewards permitted withdrawal for a veterinary condition prior to 8.00am in accordance with Local Rule NT 109.

VALENTINA STAR - Stewards permitted withdrawal for a veterinary condition prior to 8.00am in accordance with Local Rule NT 109.

KRONOS (J Hampson) – Stewards intend to interview apprentice in relation to her use of the whip in the straight.

CHIEF MONDO (J Todd) – Bumped at the start.

KEEN AS A BEAN (V Arnott) – Slow into stride.

KOA (J Hampson) – Mistrode near the 1050m and knuckled dislodging the rider.

SIMPLY INSPIRING (S Wiseman) – Bumped at the start.

General – Apprentice J Hampson was transported to hospital for observation and she will be interviewed in relation to being dislodged from her mount at a date to be fixed.
