PRINCE RUBAN (A Sweeney) – As the start was affected, jumped inwards bumping with another runner. Raced wide throughout.
NEW ENTERPRISE (L Maloney) – Bumped with another runner at the start.

I LOVERAIN (A Sweeney) – After a disappointing performance, the rider reported that he was unable to obtain cover throughout the event having to race in clear running and as a result the gelding failed to finish off the race as anticipated. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near-fore leg. Trainer P Shiers will be required to present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
JULY (L Maloney) – Commenced awkwardly losing some ground.
RISING FIRE (H Le Blanc) – Lay out rounding the home turn.
ANKLE ROLEX (D Gillett) – Raced wide into the straight.
PREDICTING (R Vigar) – Commenced awkwardly.
1ST JULY 2ND RISING FIRE 3RD FIELD OF PRAISE
Race 4: Ladbrokes Summer Sprint Series Handicap 0-64 – 1100m
HELL AND BACK (L Maloney) – Raced wide in the early stages.
MIAMI VICE (D Barton) – Commenced awkwardly. Commenced to shift inwards onto another runner, under pressure passing the 100m. The rider was reminded of her obligations to stop riding and straighten her mounts when shifting ground.
LOCHLORIAN (R Vigar) – On returning to scale the gelding was found to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the geldings second attack of bleeding, it is now ineligible to start in any race under the provisions of AR79(6). Trainer T Halter was advised of these provisions.
BRAT (D Gillett) – Fractious in the barriers. Raced wide into the straight.
VILLA ROYALE (J Todd) – Steadied off heels at the 900m when racing forward.
POLARISING (H Le Blanc) – Taken inwards by another runner passing the 100m.

GREAT BUY (R Vigar) – Raced wide throughout.
1ST ZOURATA 2ND STORMFRONT 3RD FIELD OF FLUTES
Race 6: Sportsbet Handicap 0-58 – 1000m
VIACONI (R Vigar) – Raced wide from the 600m. Lay in under pressure down the length of the straight.
MLINZI (D Barton) – Commenced awkwardly and was slow away. Mistrode when steadied at the 200m away from other runners.
NO I’M NOT (L Maloney) – Checked to avoid the heels of BELYAEV (B Cray) near the 200m losing considerable ground.
BELYAEV (B Cray) – Shifted inwards near the 200m hampering another runner.
RISING WATER (A Sweeney) – Attempted to buck for a number of strides after leaving the barriers. Trainer P Shiers was advised that the gelding would have to pass a barrier trial prior to racing again.
General – On inquiry jockey B Cray (BELYAEV) pleaded guilty to a charge under AR131(a) of engaging in careless riding. The specifics being that passing the 200m he permitted his mount to shift inwards when insufficiently clear resulting in NO I’M NOT (L Maloney) being checked to avoid heels and losing considerable ground. B Cray had his license to ride in races suspended for 7 days to expire after 21 February 2026. B Cray was advised of his right of appeal.
