Overview

Northern Territory Institute of Equestrian Sport (NTIES), has a well-established training facility which includes a purpose built 70m x 40m training arena, fully railed with Bounce Back Rail to ensure safety for horses and riders. Additional facilities include; railed day yards to accommodate horses during clinics, wash bays, and horse cooling station with an ice bath.

Nicole Mutimer, owner of NTIES, provides the following services to clients; coaching, training, workshops, seminars, clinics, and agistment.

Nicole Mutimer has completed a Diploma of Equitation Science and is a qualified Equestrian Australia Level 1 Coach. As a full-time equestrian trainer and coach, Nicole has been re-educating Off The Track Thoroughbred for over 20 years. Nicole has produced successful Thoroughbreds, with many of these horses being to sold to elite competition stables interstate.

Travelling throughout the Northern Territory and interstate, Nicole provides training and education packages to various equestrian sporting clubs. For example; coaching development, young horse clinics, horsemanship clinics, equitation science seminars, sport psychology workshops. Nicole also provides clinics across various disciplines, such as; dressage, show jumping, show horse and western dressage. 

For several years, Nicole has also conducted Off The Track training clinics. Nicole understands the importance of supporting and educating owners to ensure the horses make a safe and successful transition into their post racing career.

Currently, Nicole works with more than 20 Thoroughbreds and their riders on a regular basis. Through her business Nicole has worked with many riders that have gone into careers in racing including apprentice jockey Dakota Gillett and trackwork rider Madison Viney.
