HELL OFA GOOD SORT (S Tsaikos) – Slow into stride. Raced wide throughout.

REMODIFY (M Hart) – Stewards sought an explanation from trainer T Halter in relation to improved performance. She advised that her stable had taken over the training of the mare in August, 2018 and after a lengthy spell was racing 2nd up today. She added that the mare has improved in condition in recent weeks and had been working well in track work. Whilst she had expected some improvement on its previous run she had not expected the mare to win today. She indicated that there had been wagering support on the mare from her stable. When questioned rider advised that he ridden positively in the early stages and obtained a positon behind the leaders and that the fast pace of the race had suited his mount in that the mare was able to finish off strongly in the run to the line. These explanations were noted.
