MIGHTY MICK (D Morgan) – Slow into stride. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Rider reported that after being slow away, resented the kick back and also felt a little flat in running.

Race 2: Coca-Cola Handicap 1200 metres
VIOTTI was declared a late scratching at 3:07pm after taking charge of its rider on route to the barriers and galloping at a quick pace for some distance.
As there was no bookmaker on course, no deductions were applicable.
EIGHTEEN BOMBERS (W Davis) – Steadied off heels at the 1000m losing some ground.
CUNNING MOVES (J Todd) – Shifted inwards at the 1000m.
NEXT GENERATION (R Vigar) – Raced wide throughout.
General: On inquiry jockey J Todd (CUNNING MOVES) was reprimanded under AR131(a) for careless riding for allowing his mount to shift inwards when not clear near the 1000m resulting in EIGHTEEN BOMBERS (W Davis) having to steady off heels losing ground.
