General – When questioned regarding an incident involving RESTLESS approaching the first turn, apprentice L Neindorf advised that he had responded to a call from another rider in the back straight and elected to shift his mount towards the inside rail from a one off position near the 850m. He advised that his mount then commenced to race keenly and despite his efforts the gelding improved onto heels and mistrode at the 750m. The Stewards brought to the attention of apprentice L Neindorf and that in this situation he was entitled to remain in a one off position and could have done so as he did not receive any pressure from his outside. He agreed with this assessment of the incident and was advised to be mindful of this in a similar circumstance.
