HILLBILLY RICH (F Bergstrand) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
AMERICAN STAR (L Crow) – Fractious in the barriers. Bumped with another runner on jumping.
VON MYSTIC (D Morgan) – Steadied off heels into the first turn.
RHYTHM OF CUBA (S Tsaikos) – Bounded on jumping unbalancing its rider and losing ground. Raced wide in the early and middle stages of the event.
RAKITIKI (L Neindorf) – Raced wide throughout.

Race 2: Ladbrokes Cash Out Early Handicap 1200 metres
NORDIC ECLIPSE was a late withdrawal at 1:46 pm on veterinary advice after a mishap when being unloaded off the float when arriving on course and sustaining an injury to the right hip and found to be lame to the off-side hind leg.
Trainer advised that prior to that gelding again starting in a race, a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards must be produced.
TRYSTOFF (D Morgan) – Slow into stride bumping with another runner.
LUCK’S A CHANCE (B Davis) – Knuckled on jumping and raced wide throughout.
HOPE YA DON’T MIND (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Inclined to race a little erratic in the early stages shifting outwards abruptly.
CRYSTAL QUEEN (F Bergstrand) – Lost some ground at the 200m after its rider took hold. Rider advised that she had attempted a run along the rails to the inside of a runner when her mount was reluctant to go there and baulked losing some ground.

MANHATTAN SPIRIT (R Vigar) – Fractious in the barriers.
KUMMERLINGS (L Crow) – Bumped with another runner at the 250m.
REMODIFY (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
THE MAILMAN (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Shifted outwards at the 250m bumping with another runner.
DREAM PASSENGER (W Davis) – Steadied off heels at the 850m when racing forward. Inconvenienced for clear running at the 250m.
PREEMPTIVE (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly on jumping and attempted to buck. Raced wide throughout with no cover. Trainer advised that a warning had been placed on the gelding and a similar occurrence may result in some action being taken. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.

EQUIAMICO (L Neindorf) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped with another runner. After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
