MCINTYRE (P Shiers) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that after racing wide into the first turn he elected to shift ground closer to the rail to obtain cover but his mount was off the bit mid race and under pressure prior to straightening. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate. Trainer G Lefoe advised the gelding will now go for a spell.

PATRIA (B Davis) – Raced wide throughout.

MAKIN THE GRADE (K Gladwin) – Raced keenly in the early stages and wide from the 600m.

1ST WARFACE 2ND DUBAWI SNIPER 3RD HOWDEE

 

Race 2: BM54 1200m

TREBLA (K Gladwin) – Commenced awkwardly.

CLAIRVUE DIAMOND (B Davis) – Raced wide throughout.

RESTLESS (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start.

MY SNIP (J Todd) – Lay outwards rounding the home turn and momentarily unbalanced when close to heels.

ABITAZAR (S Altieri) – Attempted to buck shortly after the start and after being checked by its rider then raced tractably for the remainder of the event. Raced wide throughout. Trainer L Walling-Denton was advised that a warning would be placed on gelding in relation to this incident.

DAISLEY (B Palise) – Bumped at the start. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and further impeded when improving leaving the 300m. Raced in restricted room between runners from the 200m to the 100m.

DON’T WAIT (P Shiers) Raced wide throughout.

FEATHERS OF HOPE (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages.

SHECRAN (B Palise) – Following the unplaced performance trainer P Stennett advised that the mare will be retired.
