Race 1 Ladbrokes Cash Out Early Handicap 1200 metres
REGAL CAPITAL (W Kerford) – Raced wide throughout. Rider advised that he was disappointed with the gelding and in his opinion the gelding felt a little flat in running.
DREAM PASSENGER (R Vigar) – After breaking through the front of the barriers, a veterinary examination cleared the gelding to start. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
THE STAR LEGAND (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Inconvenienced for clear running between the 400m and 300m.
HEART OF EDEN (R Vigar) – Slow into stride. Began to yield ground from the 800m.

TOMAHAWK LAD (S Tsaikos) – After a disappointing performance, a veterinary examination of the gelding failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities.
EXACTING (W Kerford) – Lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
BRAZILLIANT (B Huppatz) – Inclined to lay outwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
KING KAZOU (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly and raced wide throughout the event.

PUZZLE MANIA declared a late scratching at the barriers at 3:04pm on veterinary advice after being found to be lame in the off/side hind leg. Trainer advised the prior to again starting in a race, he must produce a veterinary certificate of soundness satisfactory to the Stewards.
As there was no book-maker on course, no deductions were applicable.
D’LIVA (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
DONE RIGHT (C Eaton) – Steadied off heels at the 850m.
AUSBRED WAAWOR (W Kerford) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
LIT (F Bergstrand) - Reared on jumping dislodging its rider.

Race 4: Holdfast Insurance Brokers Handicap 1400 metres
General: After being dislodged from her mount in the previous event, F Bergstrand underwent a medical examination by St John medical officers. Whilst not serious, F Bergstrand had some concern with her right knee and therefore decided to forfeit her ride in this event.
As a result WOOGIE was declared a late scratching at 3:18pm by order of the Stewards after its rider became indisposed and no other rider was available.
As there was no book-maker on course, no deductions were applicable.
MILITARY FORCES (S Tsaikos) – Reared on jumping losing some ground.
MIGHTY MICK (D Morgan) – Commenced awkwardly momentarily unbalancing its rider.
EQUIAMICO (L Crow) – Slow into stride.
OLIVARES (R Vigar) – Slow into stride and raced wide throughout.
REMODIFY (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.
