MASTER AGAR (T Treichel) – Bumped at the start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an elevated heart rate.
COUNT OF ESSEX (K Gladwin) – Bumped with another runner at the start.
RESTLESS (W Davis) - When question regarding the unplaced performance rider advised his mount had had not been suited to being ridden along in the early and middle stages to maintain a forward position and consequently was under pressure on straightening and yielded ground from thereon. A post-race veterinary examination revealing no apparent abnormalities. Subsequent to the race trainer P Cole advised the gelding had pulled up lame in the near fore fetlock and after consultation with the owners the gelding will be retired.

REAL ROYAL (F Bergstrand) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped with another runner.
