BAAED (P Shiers) – Crowded and steadied near the 1300m.

SIR GARFIELD (S Tsaikos) – Knuckled at the start. Steadied racing into the first turn.

CAPTAIN CALIFORNIA (P Denton) - Fractious prior to the start.

NEXT GENERATION (J Todd) – Slow into stride.

KUMMERLINGS (B Huppatz) – Steadied when impeded for clear running on straightening.

LADY SATAB (C Hunter) - Held up for clear running passing the 200m.

QUE PASA (W Kerford) – Race wide throughout.

Race 2: TAB Handicap 1100m

CYCLONITE (P Denton) – Bumped at the start.

LIVE FAST (L Crow) – Steadied back from heels leaving the 600m.

LOVE CLUB (D Morgan) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance apprentice advised that his mount lost momentum from resenting the kickback after being crossed near the 800m and did not finish off the race as anticipated. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

JONNY AKHATON (C Hunter) – Bumped at the start.

Race 3: Ladbrokes Odds Boost Handicap 1100m

MIGHTY BEAU (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly losing ground.

DUKE OF HEARTS (R Vigar) – Commenced to lay inwards when tested with the whip near the 150m.

STILL JUSTIFIED (T Treichel) – Raced wide throughout and lay outwards rounding the home turn.

1ST ARROGANT MISS 2ND DUKE OF HEARTS 3RD STILL JUSTIFIED

 

Race 4: Sun FM Handicap 1100m

THE TROOPER (L Crow) – Bumped and then knuckled at the start. Raced wide throughout.

MANHATTAN SPIRIT (T Treichel) – Knuckled at the start. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that whilst his mount had resented the kickback through the middle stages the mare did not make ground when out of the kickback and ridden along in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

THE MAILMAN (W Kerford) – Slow into stride.

Race 5: Peter Kittle Motor Company The Soldier Lightning Handicap 1000m

LOCK THE DOORS (P Denton) – Bumped at the start and held tight shortly after.

SHAMPERS (W Davis – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Held tight shortly after the start and crowded between runners. Raced wide throughout.

TOMAHAWK LAD (S Tsaikos) – Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide from the 700m.

1ST SO STOIC 2ND EIGHTEEN BOMBERS 3RD REMBRANDT

 

Race 6: XXXX Gold Handicap 1600m

EXONERATE (W Kerford) – Bumped at the start.

ZAP (T Treichel) – Slow into stride and bumped.

IMMUTABLE (C Hunter) – Bumped at the start.

SOLARCRAFT (D Morgan) – When questioned regarding his tactics in the event, apprentice advised that he had been instructed to settle back in the field and allow his mount to settle and relax and make his run from the 600m. He explained the gelding responded to his urgings from the 600m and finished the race off strongly in the straight to finish 5th. Apprentice D Morgan agreed with the Stewards that he had erred in the respect of allowing the gelding to get too far back and then not attempting to improve his position in running down the back straight which would have placed his mount in a better position to finish in the placings.

BIT OF A FLIRT (K Gladwin) – Bumped at the start.

1ST SKALDAK 2ND EXONERATE 3RD ZAP

 

Race 7: Red Centre Technology Partners Chief Ministers Cup 1600m

GAUGUIN (S Tsaikos) – Slow into stride.

LOTION (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start.

MODERNA’S ARROW (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly and tightened for room shortly after the start.

SAFETY DANCE (T Treichel) – Raced keenly onto the first turn having to steady from heels.

DAISLEY (L Crow) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.

1ST JAVA 2ND LOTION 3RD FINAL HEARING
