Race 3: TAB Maiden Plate 1100m

CRAZY SUSPECT - declared a late withdrawal at 1:10pm by order of the Stewards after its trainer G Lefoe advised that the gelding had sustained a superficial wound to its nose whilst in it’s yard resulting in some bleeding from its left nostril.

LIT - declared a late withdrawal at 3:51pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load. Trainer K Lamprecht was advised that as the gelding has a previous record of being unable to load, it must now barrier trial on 2 occasions to the satisfaction of the Stewards with the emphasis on loading in a timely manner.

The start time of this this race was delayed by several minutes due to the efforts to load LIT into the barriers and the veterinary examination conducted on REYNARD. As there was no on-course book maker, no deductions were applicable.
