AMIGO MIO (P Denton) – Following the poor performance the gelding underwent a veterinary examination and was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia. Trainer T Harrower was advised that the gelding must compete satisfactorily in a barrier trial and he must obtain a veterinary clearance prior to racing again.

MR AZEEM (Y Valenti) – Bumped at the start. Raced greenly in the early and middle stages. Returned to the enclosure with a shifted near hind plate.
SECLUSION (W Davis) – Raced wide throughout.
MISSARI (V Arnott) – Unsettled in the barriers. Bounded at the start and bumped another runner.

CALL ME LEGEND (T Treichel) – Raced wide throughout.
TACITUS (J Todd) – Failed to commence with the field and lost ground. Reluctant to stretch out in running and despite the efforts if the rider failed to race competitively. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer G Clarke was advised that the gelding must perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial prior to racing again.

DON’T WAIT (P Shiers) – Commenced awkwardly and lost ground.
THE MONT (V Arnott) – When questioned rider advised that her mount commenced to lay out racing into the first turn and continued through the middle stages and consequently raced wide in the home straight.
NO ALIBI (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced ungenerously passing the 700m.
