ASH GREY – (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and inclined to lay outwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
TRYSTOFF – (D Morgan) – Slow into stride.
ROUGHLY – (V Arnott) – Lay outwards rounding the home turn and down the length of the straight.
WAYANKA – (W Daivs) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.
MILITARY FORCES – (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.

Race 2: Royal Flying Doctor Service Handicap 0-64 1100m
Stewards interviewed trainer L Gillett in relation to the riding instructions she intended to issue as her stable had multiple runners in this event.
REGAL CAPITAL – (P Denton) – Bounded on jumping. Whilst coming to the end of its run at the 100m, was momentarily taken inwards by another runner.
NIC NAC – (D Morgan) – Began to shift ground inwards from the 150m to the finish. In the presence of his master Mr G Connor, rider was reminded of his obligations to stop riding and straighten his mounts when they are notably shifting ground. D Morgan was advised that allowing his mounts to shift ground uncorrected was unacceptable and may place another riders near him in danger. As D Morgan has previously been spoken to in regards to allowing his mounts to shift ground uncorrected, he was placed on notice that if he continued to allow his mounts to shift ground in such a manner, further action may be taken.
KUMMERLINGS – (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
DUVET – (V Arnott) – Slow into stride.
ALVIN PURPLE – (T Treichel) – Tightened for room in-between runners on jumping bumping on several occasions. Raced wide throughout.
RAZOR TIME – (W Davis) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and began to yield ground from the 600m.

Race 3: Sun 969 TROBIS Maiden Plate 1100m
THE FUTURE KING declared a late scratching at 2:58pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load. Trainer L Gillett was advised by Stewards that prior to again starting in a race, the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
As there was no book-maker on course, no deductions were applicable.
STILL JUSTIFIED – (W Kerford) – Jumped outwards bumping with another runner. Inclined to lay outwards under pressure rounding the home turn and down the length of the straight.
FINALISE – (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Began to yield ground from the 650m finishing well back. A subsequent veterinary inspection failed to reveal any apparent abnormalities. Trainer S Westover advised that the mare will now be retired from racing.
LITTLE CHOO CHOO – (P Denton) – Raced wide throughout.

IAMELLE declared a late scratching at 2:30 after its trainer notified Stewards that the mare had had a mishap in its yard prior to coming on course.
As there was no book-maker on course, no deductions were applicable.
GUARDIAN – (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
MY MISTER BROOKS – (D Morgan) – Commenced a little awkwardly. Lay outwards rounding the home turn getting on heels. Cast its near fore plate in running.
STRYKING ASSASSIN – (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
AUSBRED WAAWOR – (V Arnott) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.
MISS HARDROCK – (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and losing considerable ground.

Race 5: Happy 60th Jo Pulsford Handicap 1600m
BETTER THAN ELLE declared a late scratching at 4:14pm after refusing to load. Trainer J Carroll was advised by Stewards that prior to again starting in a race, the mare must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
Trainer subsequently advised that the mare will now be retired from racing.
As there was no book-maker on course, no deductions were applicable.
WINGARD – (T Treichel) – Knuckled slightly on jumping and raced wide throughout.

WHITWORTH – (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Inclined to lay outwards under pressure from the 100m.
