Race 1 Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Handicap 1200m

Stewards interviewed trainer L Gillett in relation to her riding instructions as her stable had multiple runners in this event.

THAT’S JUSTIFIED (W Kerford) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

TRYSTOFF (D Morgan) – Slow into stride and raced wide throughout.

AMERICAN STAR (L Crow) – Steadied off heels at the 750m when racing forward.

Race 2: Colemans Printing TROBIS Handicap 1200m

AGGRESSION (W kerford) – Raced wide throughout.

CLEESE (A Lindsay) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

CURTAIN CALL (C Hunter) – Slow away after commencing awkwardly.

FORT NECESSITY (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

IRON CURTAIN (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 3: Talice Security Services TROBIS Handicap 1200m

DENATIN (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

ARTISTIC FOCUS (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner approaching the 100m.

DELIGHTFUL SPIRIT (R Vigar) – Raced wide throughout.

KUMMERLINGS (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.

SPEEDYCOM (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Shifted outwards slightly under pressure approaching the 100m bumping with another runner.

VALENCIANO (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.

Correct weight for this event was delayed after the rider of the 4th placegetter (SPEEDYCOM) requested to view the footage of the final 200m.

After viewing the footage, correct weight was declared.

Race 4: XXXX Dry Handicap 1100m

LOVE CLUB (A Lindsay) – Commenced awkwardly shifting inwards and bumping with another runner.

NORIAYGA (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

ALVIN PURPLE (W Kerford) – Raced wide throughout.

BRUTAL POWER (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.

BRAZILLIANT (C Hunter) – Raced wide entering the straight.

PREEMPTIVE (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Race 5: Imparja Handicap 1000m

MADAM ST CLAIR declared a late scratching at 4:49pm by order of the Stewards after the rider failed to secure her feet in the stirrups entering onto the track and the mare took charge galloping at a strong pace for a lap of the track.

As there was no book-maker on-course, no deductions were applicable.

Trainer S Westover was advised that a warning has been placed on his runner due to its unruly behaviour when entering onto the track.

TRUCKLOAD OF HOFFA (B Huppatz) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and steadied off heels approaching the 900m.

FIONNLAGH (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly on jumping hitting its head on the side of the barriers and then getting its head up reluctant to stretch out for a number of strides losing considerable ground.

A subsequent veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no issues in the mishap.

Trainer C Cook was advised that prior to again starting in a race, the gelding must barrier trial and to be more tractable out of the barriers.

LIBERTYS TORCH (D Morgan) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

SNIP N STARE (J Todd) – Taken inwards by another runner shortly after jumping and restrained out across heels shortly after.

GRANDE CASTAGNO (R Vigar) – Commenced to shift inwards shortly after jumping.

NINE CIRCLES (L Crow) – Raced wide throughout.

General: Stewards inquired into an incident approaching the 900m and subsequent to that inquiry, R Vigar was found guilty of a charge under AR131 for careless riding.

The specifics of the charge being that he permitted his mount to shift inwards approaching the 900m when insufficiently clear resulting in SNIP N STARE being carried inwards and restrained out across heels and TRUCKLOAD OF HOFFA having to be steadied.

R Vigar had his licence to ride in races suspended to expire midnight 19th September (2NT meetings). R Vigar was advised of his right of appeal

Race 6: Not The Cup Day – 31 Oct Handicap 1400m

Stewards interviewed trainer G Connor in relation to his riding instructions as his stable had multiple runners in this event.

AWESOME MO (J Todd) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

HENRY LAD (T Treichel) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and raced wide throughout.

CHOPSTICKS (A Lindsay) – Bounded on jumping.

QUE PASA (L Crow) – Raced wide throughout.
