General – As jockey T Treichel had been stood down from riding the previous day, the following riding replacements were approved:

The start time of this event rescheduled to 1.39pm to allow for the late arrival of jockey B Huppatz.
ISLAND DANCER (A Lindsay) – Lay outwards under pressure in the straight.
CLASSY LAD (W Davis) – Raced wide in running and compounded in the straight. The gelding returned lame in the near knee. Trainer P Cole will be required to present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again.
General: Whilst Stewards accepted his explanation, B Huppatz was nonetheless reprimanded for arriving late on course.
1ST WHITEMORE 2ND ISLAND DANCER 3RD COUNT OF ESSEX
Race 2: 0-58 Div 2 1300m
As jockey A Nicholls could not make the allotted weight he was replaced as the rider of IMMUTABLE by apprentice D Morgan.
IMMUTABLE (D Morgan) – Bumped at the start.
COMOGLI (V Arnott) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Raced wide throughout.
KOWLOON KID (J Todd) – Bumped at the start.
DUNKIRK (W Davis) - Bumped at the start.
1ST KOWLOON KID 2ND COMOGLI 3RD IMMUTABLE
Race 3: 0-64 1300m
Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole regarding his riding instructions bearing in mind his stable had multiple runners in this event.
As no other rider was available, Stewards permitted jockey A Nicholls to ride 0.5kg overweight on EL SICARIO.
FORT KNOX (J Todd) – Following the unplaced performance rider advised that he had ridden his mount along vigorously in the early stages but when unable to obtain a forward position the gelding resented the kickback when racing amongst other runners. He added that when bumped at the 650m by another runner his mount became unbalanced and lost momentum. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
EL SICARIO (A Nicholls) – Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages and bumped with another runner near the 650m and became unbalanced.
1ST WEAPON 2ND EL SICARIO 3RD LOOKING FOR YOU
Race 4: BM76 1200m
SIR PLUSH (B Huppatz) – Raced keenly from the 800m and as a result steadied and bumped with another runner near the 650m.
SALTY (A Lindsay) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
SHIFT THE RISK (V Arnott) – Bounded at the start losing ground. Raced wide in running.
DIVINE RED (J Todd) – Lay outwards rounding the home turn.
RANSOM MONEY (D Morgan) – Rider reported that his saddle shifted near the 650m and placed him at a disadvantage from thereon. The saddle continued to shift and he was unable to ride his mount out in the straight.
YULONG AWESOME (W Davis) – Crowded and bumped passing the 650m.
1ST DIVINE RED 2ND EASTWOOD 3RD SALTY
Race 5: Maiden Div 1 1200m
Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole regarding his riding instructions bearing in mind his stable had multiple runners in this event.
KICKIN GOALS (A Lindsay) – Lay outwards under pressure inside the 100m.
ARADHANA (V Arnott) – Bumped at the start.
NEWMATIC SANDS (J Todd) - Bumped at the start. Impeded from heels near the 200m when shifting out to secure a clear run.

BELLA RUBINO (A Lindsay) – Knuckled at the start.

As no other rider was available, Stewards permitted jockey A Nicholls to ride 0.5kg overweight on FASHIONETTI.
KALMAR (J Todd) – Bumped by another runner rounding the first turn and lay outwards from thereon. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer G Clarke advised that he intends to make gear changes for the gelding in an attempt to rectify its racing manner.
FAITH AND LOVE (A Lindsay) – Shifted the off for plate in running.
TWILIGHT MANEUVER (B Huppatz) – Bumped at the start.
