ARFA CROWN (W Davis) –Bumped with another runner on jumping losing ground. Wide throughout.

DON’T SAY IT (J Todd) –Subsequent to the race the rider reported that the filly jumped well and travelled well in the early stages but did not finish off the race as anticipated.
FREE TO DANCE (W Davis) – Fractious in the barriers rearing and dislodging the rider subsequently being scratched at 2.46pm on veterinary advice. The following deductions were applicable to all successful bets placed prior to 2.46pm.

Trainer S Lawlor was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again. Trainer was further advised if any issues arises with the gelding in the next couple of days to report it to the Stewards.

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke regarding his riding instructions bearing in mind his stable had multiple runners in this event.

SHIFT THE RISK (V Arnott) – Fractious in the barriers. Slow into stride
SIR PLUSH (B Huppatz) – Slow into stride.

EL SICARIO (W Davis) –Slow away. Eased off heels 1000m and then taken outwards to obtain clear running.
ISLAND DANCER (A Lindsay) –Steadied off heals 1200m. Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.
ARDIZZONE (B Huppatz) – Inclined to over-race in the early stages.

Stewards permitted Apprentice Jockey A Lindsay to ride 1kg over here MRW as no other rider was available on IMMUTABLE.
DUNKIRK (W Davis) – Steadied off heals at the 600m when attempting to take an inside run along the rails.

Subsequent to the race Steward’s interviewed Apprentice Jockey A Lindsay in regards to her not being able to make her MRW. Whilst Stewards accepted A Lindsay’s explanation, she was placed on notice that she must ensure that her MRW is within her riding capabilities.
