General: This event was delayed several minutes due to repairs to a section of the running rail.
UNKNOWN declared a late scratching at 2:47pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load.
As there was no book-maker on course, no deductions were applicable.
Trainer P Cole was advised that prior to the gelding again starting in a race, it must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards with the emphasis being on loading.
NORTHERN FACTOR (W Kerford) – Inclined to lay out rounding the home turn.
TIME FLIES BY (C Hunter) – Slow into stride and crowded for room shortly after.

EXTRACTION (L Crow) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages having to steady off heels.

GOLDEN DICE (P Shiers) – Momentarily crowded for room at the 600m having to steady.
TRYSTOFF (C Hunter) – Slow into stride and raced wide throughout.
CYLONITE (P Denton) – Began a little awkwardly. On returning to scale was found to be bleeding from its off side nostril. Trainer L Whittle was advised of her obligations under AR79(8).
BROOKLYN (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout.
WHITE KAPS (W Davis) – Steadied off heels at the 600m when laying outwards.
REGAL CAPITAL (L Crow) – Began awkwardly.
