ART OF MORE (W Davis) – Subsequent to competing the gelding bled from both nostrils. Trainer P Cole was advised of the embargo now placed on the gelding in accordance with AR79.
OVERRULED (A Nicholls) – Bumped at the start. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that he had ridden his mount forward in the early stages but when unable to lead the gelding then failed to settle and over raced despite his efforts, consequently yielding ground in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have an elevated heart rate and increased respiratory rate.
MOMENTUM AMETHYST (P Denton) – Eased over the concluding stages when in restricted room.
THE AUDITOR (J Todd) – Lay inwards under pressure over the final 100m.
LOOKATIM GO (B Huppatz) – Bumped at the start.
AHMAH STAR (J Philpot) – Raced wide throughout.

MISTER HAY ZEE (A Nicholls) – Bumped at the start. Shifted outwards under pressure and bumped another runner at the 150m.
SOLDIEROFRTHEBRAVE (A Lindsay) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Held up for clear running approaching the 400m. Bumped and unbalanced at the 150m.
PRINCESS DEJOUR (V Arnott) – Bumped heavily at the start.
WARFACE (P Denton) – Bumped at the start.
NEWMATIC SANDS (J Philpot) – After making contact with the running rail during the preliminary, the mare underwent a veterinary examination behind the barriers and was cleared to compete.
CASH BUNDLE (B Huppatz) – Resaddled behind the barriers. Commenced awkwardly and lost ground.
General – On inquiry jockey A Nicholls (MISTER HAY ZEE) was reprimanded for careless riding under AR131(a) with the specifics being that in the straight he allowed his mount to shift ground outwards uncorrected resulting in SOLDIEROFTHEBRAVE (A Lindsay) being bumped and unbalanced at the 150m.

ESCONDIDO (K Gladwin) – Raced wide throughout.
HATTAN MAN (V Arnott) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that her mount was under pressure from the 400m and in her opinion, the gelding may not have appreciated racing in consecutive weeks.

TESTINO (V Arnott) – Raced ungenerously for some distance leaving the 900m when resenting the kickback.

CANTON KID (A Nicholls) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that his mount travelled comfortably in running but slightly faltered in its action rounding the home turn and failed to finish off as anticipated. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off fore leg. Trainer T Halter was advised that a veterinary clearance will be required prior to the gelding racing again.

FAITH AND LOVE (W Davis) – Slow into stride.
MISS NASTY (C Hunter) – A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare had sustained an injury to the near fore suspensory. Trainer L Wanless was advised the mare will require a veterinary clearance and must barrier trial satisfactorily prior to racing again.
MUST BE MOET (J Philpot) – When questioned in relation to her mount losing ground mid race, rider advised that the mare lay outwards slightly rounding the first turn and then improved close to heels and had to be restrained leaving the 650m.
