CYCLONITE (P Denton) – Raced wide throughout.
MASTERATI (V Arnott) – Cast the near hind plate enroute to the barriers. The plate could not be located and after consulting trainer N Irwin, the Stewards permitted the gelding to compete without this plate.
MR CASHMAN (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 3: 0-58 1000m
ULTIMATE VIEW (J Todd) – Fractious prior to and as the start was effected and then reared losing ground. Rider reported that the gelding resented the kickback although racing in a rearward position. Cast the off fore plate in running.
KOA (S Wiseman) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
ARADHANA (S Tsaikos) – Bumped at the start.

GOOD THERAPY (P Denton) – Dwelt at the start.
BAR GEM (S Tsaikos) – Bumped shortly after the start.
LOOKING FOR YOU (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly.
GLADIOLO (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
COWLEY’S CREEK (V Arnott) – Bumped shortly after the start. Raced wide throughout. Rider fumbled and dropped her whip near the 50m.
1ST DEFENCE ATTORNEY 2ND BAR GEM 3RD BRIMARVI ROOBOY
Following the running of race 4 thunderstorm and lightning activity developed within a 10 km radius of the racecourse and in accordance with TRNT policy, racing was suspended and the weather was monitored. The storm activity did not clear and the Stewards determined that racing was unlikely to resume given the conditions and at approximately 5.15pm the final two races were abandoned.
