COWLEYS CREEK (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout. Carried outwards over the concluding stages.

At the request of SKY the start time of this event was varied to 3.56pm.
REALLY SWISH (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly. Rider advised that the stirrup iron leather strap came loose from the buckle at the start of the race and without the use of the off side stirrup he was therefore placed at a disadvantage in running.
NORTHERN FACTOR (C Hunter) – Bounded at the start.

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in regards to the riding instructions he intended to issue bearing in mind the stable had all the runners in this event.
ANOTHER BIT (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly.
BEL’S BANNER (J Todd) – Veered inwards at the start.
DON’T WAIT (P Shiers) – Bumped and crowded at the start. Lay outwards passing the 500m and was steadied from heels.

Race 5: Maiden 1000m
At the request of SKY the start time of this event was varied to 5.08pm.
EXPERT WITNESS (P Shiers) was withdrawn by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice at 4.43pm after trainer G Lefoe reported he noticed the gelding had nasal discharge after arriving on course. A veterinary clearance will be required for the gelding prior to racing again.
LEAKED (V Arnott) – Carried inwards shortly after the start. Raced wide for the majority of the event.
MALIBU EDITION (S Wiseman) – Bumped and crowded at the start.
MANAAJIM (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly.
