General: J Philpot (CELINE) pleaded guilty to a charge under AR131(b) in that she failed to ride her mount out to the finish line and in the opinion of the Stewards, failed to secure 4th position running 5th. J Philpot was fined the sum of $200. Consideration was given to this being her first offence and the position she had finished.

Race 3: Indervon Petroleum Handicap 1100 metres

SQUARE CUT declared a late scratching at 4:09pm by order of the Stewards after refusing to load.

As no book maker was in attendance, no deductions were applicable.

Trainer R Viney was advised that prior to that gelding again starting in a race, in must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
