Race 1: SILKS 4.21 Happy Hour H’Cap – 1300m
DON’T WAIT (W Davis) – Bumped at the start.
SWEET CHEVAL (S Wiseman) – Knuckled badly at the start. Rider advised that the gelding raced outside the leader through the early and middle stages but commenced to lay outwards from the 600m and yielded ground in the straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer J Banks advised that she have further veterinary checks performed on the gelding in the ensuing days and will advise accordingly of the results.
BRIMARVI ROOBOY (A Nicholls) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Required post race veterinary treatment for ulcerated eyes.
PRECAUTIOARY (V Arnott) – Raced wide throughout.

ANTONIO (J Philpot) – Raced wide throughout.
BEAR FOREVER (S Wiseman) – Commenced awkwardly. Tightened for room and restrained near the 850m.
CASSATT (W Davis) – Carried inwards near the 850m.
IT’S PINS (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
ZIP LANE (P Shiers) – Bumped heavily at the start.
RICH FEELINGS (C Hunter) – Raced greenly in the back straight.
General: On inquiry it was established that RICH FEELINGS (C Hunter) raced greenly and lay inwards in the early stages and despite the efforts of its rider shifted ground near the 850m resulting in CASSATT (W Davis) being carried inwards causing BEAR FOREVER (S Wiseman) to be tightened for room and restrained. Stewards were satisfied that this incident was the result of the racing manner of RICH FEELINGS and no further action was required in the circumstances.

Race 3: SKY Racing H’cap – 1100m
LITTLE TOWN BLUES (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped.
MANLY COVE (P Shiers) – When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that in his opinion when racing first up his mount was not suited when challenged for the lead in running and consequently was under pressure prior to straightening. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be coughing and have an elevated heart rate.
POUPEE (S Wiseman) – Returned with an abrasion to the off hind heel.
LEAKED (V Arnott) – Bumped at the start.
