MURGANELLA (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly and unbalanced the rider. Hard ridden through the early and middle stages. Following the unplaced performance a post race veterinary examination revealed gelding to have an elevated heart rate.

COWLEY’S CREEK (V Arnott) – Wide throughout.

NORTHERN FACTOR (W Davis) – Commenced awkwardly.

IMA PUPPET (C Hunter) – Cast both front plates in running.

MALIBU EDITION (C Hunter) – Bounded at the start and lost ground. The veterinarian reported the gelding returned with an ulcerated right eye.

TEEMING AT TIMES (J Todd) – Raced greenly from the 800m, raced wide throughout.

Stewards interviewed trainer G Clark in relation to his riding instructions as the stable had multiple runners in this event.

SEBRAKATE (A Nicholls) – Returned having bled from both nostrils and as this was the first episode trainer D Bates was advised of the provisions of AR79.

BEL’S BANNER (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide throughout. Returning to scale the rider reported that in his opinion their seemed to be something amiss with the mare. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities

LITTLE MISS RICH (P Shiers) – Bumped at the start.

CAPTAIN OH (J Todd) – Fractious prior to the start, commenced awkwardly and bumped with another runner. Race ungenerously in the early stages.
