Race 1: Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Handicap 1200 metres

ELMORE LAD (D Morgan) – Slow into stride.

KING CRAB (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly.

HARD WORK REWARDS (D Gillett) – Raced wide throughout and inclined to lay inwards under pressure over the concluding stages.

Race 2: Daryl Braithwaite 17 Sept Handicap 1200 metres

DEVIL’S TEMPTATION (D Morgan) – Commenced awkwardly. Taken outwards by another runner rounding the home turn.

CUT IT OUT (I Luximon) – Shifted outwards rounding the home turn.

BAR GEM (J Philpot) – Slow into stride.

CYCLONITE (D Gillett) – Shifted outwards off heels to obtain clear running approaching the 800m. Rider reminded of her obligations to check for other runners when shifting ground quickly.

MIGHTY MURT (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 3: Aus Projects NT Handicap 1100 metres

MACKINAW (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner. Commenced to shift inwards at the 250m bumping with another runner on numerous occasions.

BRAT (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly.

QUALIS (D Gillett) – Tightened for room from the 250m along the rail for a prolonged period with the rider having to take hold and lose her position.

GOLDEN RIPPLES (C Hunter) – Commenced awkwardly and knuckled.

BOLD TROPIC (J Philpot) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and taken outwards slightly.

On inquiry apprentice I Luximon (MACKINAW), in the presence of trainer W Savage, pleaded guilty to a charge under AR131(a) of engaging in careless riding. The specifics were that whilst riding his mount along he permitted his mount to shift inwards when insufficiently clear approaching the 250m, resulting in QUALIS (D Gillett) being tightened for room along the rails and having to restrain her mount for a prolonged period, losing her position.

Apprentice Luximon had his license to ride in races suspended for 1 NT race meeting to expire after 26 August, 2022. Apprentice Luximon was advised of his right of appeal.

FEELING MIGHTY (S Tsaikos) – Fractious in the barriers.

HARBOUR EXPRESS (S Wiseman) – Raced wide into the home straight.

CELINE (C Hunter) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

ACRES MIDNIGHT (D Gillett) – Bumped with another runner on jumping.

Race 5: Alice Springs Toyota Handicap 1400 metres

EXONERATE (D Gillett) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner and raced wide throughout.

ROCKFORD FILES (C Hunter) – Commenced a little awkwardly.

WINTER HARBOUR (S Tsaikos) – Bumped with another runner on jumping and inclined to over-race in the early stages.
