Race 1: Top End Racing Awards 16 September BM76 Handicap – 1000m
IDEAS MAN (P Shiers) – Raced keenly rounding the first turn.
CHARRETERA (B Wong) – Slow into stride.
PAPALET (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly.

Race 2: Silks Darwin C2 Handicap - 1000m
The start of this race was delayed approximately 4 minutes due to multiple pre race incidents outlined below.
CHAMPS D’OR (S Tsaikos) – Commenced awkwardly. Raced wide throughout.
MYSTERY FLYER (W Davis) – Sprung the front gates of its barrier and after being restrained the mare was returned to the barriers and reloaded. Bumped on the hindquarters by another runner near the 650m and checked by its rider.
LITTLE KIBO (S Wiseman) – The tongue tie became detached prior to arriving at the barriers. Despite efforts by the Starter, the tongue tie could not be refitted and after consultation with trainer T Logan, the Stewards permitted the mare to race without this gear. Tightened for room and severely checked near the 650m and shifted outwards contacting another runner.
CUDJERIE (C Hunter) – Returned to the enclosure with blood in the mouth.
RUBY RUBY RUBY (A Lindsay) – Slow into stride.
ANTONIO (J Todd) – Raced wide throughout.
General – On inquiry jockey V Arnott (MINISTER) was found guilty of a charge under AR131(a) for engaging in careless riding. The specifics being that she permitted her mount to shift inwards when insufficiently clear passing the 650m resulting in LITTLE KIBO (S Wiseman) being tightened room and severely checked by its rider and consequently that mare shifted out making heavy contact with the hindquarters of MYSTERY FLYER (W Davis), unbalancing that runner which was also checked by the rider. After considering all relevant matters, jockey V Arnott had her licence to ride in races suspended for a period of 2 DTC race meetings to expire after 10 September, 2022 and in addition a fine of $300 was imposed.

REALLY SWISH (C Hunter) – Slow to muster early speed.
ZIP LANE (P Shiers) – Raced keenly between the 1000m and the 700m.
COMETH THE HOUR (S Tsaikos) – Eased and lost momentum near the 1000m. Cast the near hind plate in running.

Race 5: Melanie Tyndall Memorial 0-64 Handicap - 1100m
EXPERT WITNESS (P Shiers) – Lay outwards through the middle stages.
MANLY COVE (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Steadied getting its head up shortly after the start. Raced ungenerously through the early and middle stages. The stable reported the gelding had recovered well following the unplaced performance.
DREAM WEAVER (C Hunter) – Raced wide throughout.
TURNSTAR (W Davis) – Fractious prior to the start.
