Stewards interviewed trainer G Clarke in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.

DOMINUS (S Wiseman) – Slow into stride. The Trainer reported that the mare returned having bled from the right nostril. Trainer C Nash was advised of his requirements under AR79.

BEAR FOREVER (S Wiseman) – Wide throughout
GOOSEONTHEROOF (C Hunter) – en-route to the barriers the gelding took charge of its and was eventually pulled up at the 600m. A subsequent veterinary
examination cleared the gelding to race. Slow into stride.

TSUGARU (W Davis) – Raced ungenerously in the early and middle stages. Lay inwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

Race 4: Makrylos Group BM54 Handicap – 1100m
FRACTION LATE (A Lindsay) –Jumped awkwardly and bumped with another runner.
RICH SUN (J Todd) – Had to ease off the heels of another runner approaching the 800m.
BAT PAD (A Nicholls) – Slow into stride.
THREEPOINT MISSILE (C Hunter) – Slow away and raced ungenerously in the early stages causing the rider difficulties in keeping the gelding straight and further lay outwards racing into the first turn. Trainer C Pollard was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.
