General:
Stewards opened an inquiry into an incident reported by apprentice I Luximon that TRNT licenced stable hand Dylan Bairstow had deliberately elbowed him when both in the vicinity of the scales area prior to race 3.
When questioned, D Bairstow acknowledged that his elbow had brushed with apprentice Luximon as there is not a lot of room where he was standing but he claimed it was in no way deliberate. He also acknowledged that he should not have been in the scales room as it is a restricted area. After also hearing evidence from the Clerk of the Scales Mrs C Preston-Walsh, Stewards were of the view that some sort of mild contact between both of them had occurred, but they could not be satisfied that it was of a deliberate nature and took no further action in regards to the incident. D Bairstow was again advised of his obligations to not enter this restricted area without the permission of the Stewards. As the relationship between both parties recently has been strained, Stewards issued a directive to Mr Bairstow to not engage in conduct or discussions with apprentice I Luximon until they were satisfied the matter between them had abated.
Post-race samples were taken from all winners.
Pre-race samples were taken from: TORRATORIO, WHITE KAPS, GINGER CREEK, KITTY DAMOUR, FANTASY EAGLE
