Both RIMROCK and SHALWESEE were declared late scratchings at 2:39pm after refusing to load. As no bookmaker was in attendance, no deductions were applicable.
Trainers R Bell and R Viney were advised that prior to again starting in a race, both geldings will need to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
BENZAGAIN (S Tsaikos) – Raced wide throughout. Stewards questioned trainer L Walling-Denton in relation to the ongoing uncompetitive performances of her runner. Ms Walling-Denton advised that the gelding has issues with its hocks which are being treated by a veterinarian. She further advised that the gelding would now be sent for a spell and she will consider retiring the gelding from racing.
DANNY WHIZZBANG (A Maloney) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure down the length of the home straight.
RUPERT’S DELIGHT (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly bumping with another runner.
