NIEWAND (T Townsend) – Returned having bled from both nostrils (1st time). Trainer J Manning was advised of the provisions of AR79(4).
IDEAS MAN (I Luximon) – Slow into stride.
MR CASHMAN (P Denton) – Commenced awkwardly.
BAT PAD (S Wiseman) – Inclined to shift outwards under pressure down the length of the straight.

Race 3: Silks Darwin TROBIS Maiden Plate – 1100m
General – Correct weight for this event was delayed as the rider of the fourth place getter (CISALPINE) requested to see the Stewards patrol footage over the final 150m. After viewing the footage correct weight was declared.
CISALPINE ((S Tsaikos) – Bumped at the start. Rider had to steady at the 80m when taken inwards from a runner shifting ground.
DREYFUS (W Davis) – Inclined to lay inwards under pressure from the 100m.
LAYLAH’S WISH (I Luximon) – slow into stride before mustering good speed to take up a forward position.
VERY TRIXIE (C Hunter) – Bumped at the start.

Stewards interviewed trainer P Cole in relation to the riding instructions he intended to issue as the stable had multiple runners in the event.
EXGAMES (I Luximon) – Commenced awkwardly bumping another runner. I Luximon was reminded of his obligations in regards to his whip use prior to the 100m.
HENESTROSA (P Denton) – Bumped at the start.
SIDEBERN (S Wiseman) – Slow into stride.
I’MA HAPPY MAN ((S Tsaikos) – Fractious in the barriers. Bumped at the start. Race wide in the early stages.
GOLDEN RIDGE (T Townsend) – Bumped at the start.

Race 5: Darwin Racing BM54 Handicap - 1100m
COURAGEOUS HEART (I Luximon) – Steadied off heals near the 1000m when racing forward.
REAL REASON (C Hunter) – Cast the off hind plate in running. Race wide throughout.
LIGHT AND DARK (T Townsend) – Reluctant to go to the barriers causing a delay in the start. Trainer J Manning was advised that a warning has now been placed on the gelding and a similar occurrence may result in some further action being taken.
NORTHERN FACTOR (W Davis) – Bounded on jumping unbalancing its rider.
WAR GAMES (P Crich) – Commenced awkwardly. Inclined to shift inwards under pressure over the final 100m.
